FasterNoMaster II: will generate random control keys and create a change key for each.
The user simply inputs the quantity of key needed and within a few moments, the report is ready to print. Please Note: Because the control keys are randomly created and the change keys are based upon that random number, the program could possibly generate duplicates. Every effort has been taken to prevent this from happening. As the control key is generated, it is compared to the current list of control keys as well as the current list of change keys. If it is not in either listing it is added to the control key listing. The same takes place with the change key. As it is generated, it is compared to both the control key and change key listing. If it exists in either listing, it is modified and retested. This modification may occur up to 6 times before the change key and control key are rejected and a new control key is created. This testing and retesting may cause the computer to appear to be stalled. A large quantity of 5 pin keys may take longer to generate than a 6 pin system, because of the greater potential of duplicates. Because of the time required to check and recheck large quantities of keys, the program has been setup to generate up to but not more than 1500 sets per run. If and when a second run is generated, there is the possibility that some if not many of these key sets may match those from the first run as each run is generated randomly.
