FasterMaster Software

Now master keying can be made easier for those locksmiths who don't have the time to sit down and develop a system, large or small. Once a report has been generated, the locksmith can identify which keys to cut, which cylinders to load, and how to load them chamber by chamber.

By using this information, an individual can code cut keys and load the cylinders. The program provides the required pinning and bitting information, and is user friendly too.
To download the free trial of FasterMaster, click here. (Updated September 27, 2011.)
Please be advised that the trial period is thirty (30) days and that FasterMaster reduces the quantity of keys and pages during that time period.   The program, once registered and the unlock code has been entered, will become fully functional.  To purchase the program, choose an option below.  To view a few samples of Master Key systems... click here.

Please note:  Ultimate Master 2000 and Rabbit Trax, while DOS based software, filled an important niche within the Locksmithing Industry.  They have served their purpose well and will be fondly remembered. This is to formally announce their passing.  "FasterMaster," will now take its place as the lead program from Rabbitsoft.

Combinations Software (updated April 4, 2011)

This program will generate combinations for safes, Simplex® Unicans and Schlage® Cobra locks.

The safe combinations are formatted to print 10 combinations per sheet of laser cut business cards.  The user can specify the quantity of sheets required.  There are five options with the safe combinations:

  1. Dials = 100 Forbidden Zone = (95-15).
  2. Dials = 50 No Forbidden Zone.
  3. Dials = 100 You Specify the Zone.
  4. Dials = 50 You Specify the Zone.
  5. Random Safe Combinations

All five options request the quantity of wheels in the wheelpack....3 or 4.
The difference between options 1-4 and option 5 is that options 1-4 generate
every possible combination starting from 99-0-99 down to 0-99-0 or 0-99-0-99 up to 99-0-99-0. Each number is either incremented/decremented by 5 until all numbers have cycled, then the last number is incremented/decremented by 1 and the whole thing starts over with the new numbers.  When processing is finished a file is updated with the last numbers used so the user can continue where left off.

The Unican combinations are printed on 8 ½ x 11 paper, seven across by twenty rows. The program asks if the user wants to press three buttons at the same time.  If yes, the program will ask if pressing four buttons at the same time is OK.  The printout is then cut up and all the combos are placed in an empty box and shuffled.  They are then taken out by the hand full and placed in coin envelopes.  As a combination is needed, one is removed from the envelope, the combination installed in the lock and the paper is burned.

The Cobra combinations requests the user to specify from 3 to 6 numbers within the combination and requests the number of combinations.  There are a maximum of 25 combinations per page and a maximum of 1000 combinations.  All of these combinations are randomly generated.  As each combination is created, it is compared to all previous combinations generated during the session.  If a match is found, the new combination is discarded and regenerated.  There will be no duplications.

Random Password Generator

"I was at a friends house helping her with her computer and I asked her to input her password. It was very long, so out of curiosity I asked her what she typed. She told me:
"MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofySACRAMENTO"

When I asked her why she had used such a long password, she said she was told that it had to be at least 8 characters long and include at least one capital.
Hey, at least she knew what a capital was."

Does that story sound familiar?
Are you constantly trying to come up with a password?

If your answer to either or both of these two questions is "Yes" then I may have a solution for you.

Here is what I do...
I have a password that is made up with alpha/numerical charactors.  The password is longer than 10 characters; it is made up of a number + a word or phrase that might not be part of the English Dictionary + another number: like 666TheDevilMadeMeDoIt666  or 65IsTheAgeToRetire65.

I created a blank Notepad document and saved it to my desktop.  I then placed it into a Windows Zip file and password protected it using the above password suggestions.  The Notepad document can contain all the passwords that I use for my banking plus the passwords for my various password protected web sites.  Simply open the zipped file, click on the Notepad document, enter the special password and the document opens. Add whatever you need to it, like the name of the site, the login ID and password, and then close the document.  Windows Zip will ask you if you want to save it in the zip file; respond with a yes.  It will then ask you to enter the password.  You can default to the original password and you're done.

If you feel the need for a free program that will generate random alpha/numerical passwords using from 4 to 30 characters, than download my free password generating program.  To download it, click here.
